Recently, UL has announced that since June 20, 2019, when applying for UL certification for Audio and Video (Audio, Video), information technology (ITE) and communications products, new applications can only apply for UL 62368-1, and can no longer apply for UL 60950-1.

In addition, previous changes with major changes (e.g., one side line modifications) are also mandatory to file to UL62368-1.

The European standards EN 60950-1 and EN 60065 for audio and video and information technology are also determined to be withdrawn on June 20, 2019, and audio and video/information technology products in Europe can only apply for EN 62368-1, and cannot apply for EN 60950-1 or EN 60065.
