Another possible cause of adapter failure is overheating. If the adapter feels unusually hot during normal use, it may be due to a faulty cooling mechanism or a short circuit inside. In such cases, allow the adapter to cool down and then try again. If the overheating persists, the adapter may need to be replaced.
For adapters with a detachable power cord, check if the cord is properly connected at both ends. Sometimes, a loose connection can cause intermittent power issues. Also, ensure that the power outlet is working correctly by plugging in another device.
If all else fails, it may be necessary to contact the manufacturer or a professional electronics repair service for further diagnosis and repair.
