Storage Conditions for Power Adapters

　　Proper storage is crucial for maintaining the integrity of power adapters. When not in use, store the adapter in a cool, dry place. High humidity levels can cause moisture to accumulate inside the adapter, leading to rusting of metal components and short - circuits. A storage area with a relative humidity between 30% and 60% is ideal.

　　Avoid storing the adapter in areas with extreme temperatures. Temperatures above 40°C (104°F) or below -10°C (14°F) can damage the internal electronic components. Heat can cause the plastic casing to warp and the internal circuits to degrade, while cold temperatures can make the plastic brittle and more prone to cracking.

　　Keep the adapter away from direct sunlight. Ultraviolet (UV) rays from the sun can fade the plastic casing and also affect the performance of the internal components over time. Store the adapter in a drawer or a storage box if possible.

　　When storing the adapter, coil the power cords neatly. Do not wrap the cords too tightly around the adapter, as this can put stress on the cords and potentially damage them.
