1) Classification of power adapters
According to the filter used, the power adapter can be divided into current mode and voltage mode. Using a DC smoothing reactor to filter the current mode, a relatively straight DC current can be obtained. The load current is a rectangular wave, and the load voltage is similar to a sine wave. The voltage mode adopts capacitor filtering to obtain a relatively straight DC voltage. The voltage at both ends of the load is a rectangular wave, and the load power supply is similar to a sine wave.
According to the load resonance mode, the power adapter can be divided into three types: parallel resonance, series resonance and series parallel resonance. Current mode is often used in parallel and series-parallel resonant inverters, and voltage mode is often used in series resonant inverters.
The power adapter is a static variable frequency power supply composed of power semiconductor components. It is a static frequency conversion technology that converts power frequency (50 Hz) to intermediate frequency (400 Hz~200 kHz) through thyristor. It has two frequency conversion methods: AC-DC-AC frequency conversion and AC-AC frequency conversion. Compared with the traditional generator set, it has the advantages of flexible control mode, high output power, high efficiency, convenient operation frequency, low noise, small size, light weight, simple installation, convenient operation and maintenance, etc. It is widely used in building materials, metallurgy, Defense, railway, petroleum and other industries. The power adapter has high efficiency and variable frequency. The main technologies and advantages of modern power adapters are as follows.
The main results are as follows: (1) The starting method of modern power adapters adopts a self-excited sweeping zero-voltage soft starting method. During the whole starting process, the frequency conversion speed regulation system and the current and voltage regulation closed-loop system always follow the change of the load to achieve an ideal soft start. This starting method has little effect on the thyristor, which is beneficial to prolong the service life of the thyristor, and at the same time has the advantages of light and heavy load and easy to start. Especially for the whole steelmaking furnace, the cold furnace can be started easily.
(2) The modern power adapter control circuit adopts the microprocessor constant power control circuit, and installs the inverter angle automatic adjustment circuit. During operation, it can automatically monitor changes in voltage, current, and frequency at any time, determine load changes, automatically adjust load impedance matching, achieve constant power output, achieve energy saving, and improve power factor. The energy saving effect is obvious, and the electrical energy pollution is small.
